The library is located on the fourth floor of the Stark County Office Building (formerly the Citizens Savings/First Merit Bank Building), on the corner of Tuscarawas Street and Market Avenue. Click here for a map of downtown Canton showing the law library.
Main Library Hours: The main law library is open to the public, members and court staff from 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Branch libraries are for use by members only and are located in the municipal buildings of Alliance, Canton and Massillon. Hours and access vary with the business hours of these buildings.

Branch Policies
The Board of Trustees has furnished materials at the Branches for the convenience of all members, and it is not the intent of the SCLLA that anything be removed from any Branch location. All materials at the Branches are the sole property of the Stark County Law Library Association and shall not be removed without the permission of the Association. To obtain permission, please phone the Main Library, complete an "OUT" card and place it on the shelf in the place of the item.
Only Stark County Law Library Association members and their assigned agents are permitted to use the materials and computer equipment at the Branch locations. The assignment of an agent may be done through the Main Law Library.
The hours of and access to the Branches vary with the business hours of the respective municipal buildings in which they are housed.

If you would like to make photocopies of any materials, the court offices located near the law library branches in the Canton Municipal and Massillon Municipal buildings will allow law library patrons to make photocopies. A charge may apply. Please ask the court staff for permission to make copies. The law library maintains its own photocopier at the Alliance Branch. You must obtain a vending card from the Main Library to make copies at the Alliance Branch, as the copier does not take coins. All copyright laws apply to this use.
Computers at the Branch Libraries are for research purposes only. Loss of member privileges at all locations may result if this policy is violated. The Stark County Law Library Association owns and maintains exclusive control over the computer equipment located in the Alliance and Massillon Branches. Patrons are not to change settings, options or preferences on any program or computer. Patrons are not to load their own software or download software from the SCLLA's computers. If you need assistance using the computer equipment or software, please phone the Main Law Library.
The Stark County Law Library Association takes no responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided via electronic, online or Internet resources. Patrons are responsible for carefully evaluating any information received via computer. The Stark County Law Library Association is not responsible for any damage to diskettes or the loss of information from the computers or from members' diskettes.
The Branch Libraries are not to be used for private client meetings or for the exclusive use of any member. Members may not restrict other members from entering or using the materials in the Branch Libraries by using the library as a meeting room. Conference room facilities are available at the Main Law Library and may be reserved for private use. Use of the conference room at the Main Library is by appointment only. Please phone 451-7380 to reserve the conference room.
