    Circulation:
  • Available to subscribers.
  • Almost all the print materials can be checked out for two weeks.
  • Renew by phone, (330) 451-7380, or send an email request to renew to inform@starklawlibrary.org.
  • Conference Room: Subscribers can reserve the conference room for use during regular library hours. Please phone (330) 451-7380 to make a reservation. Capacity is 15. Light refreshments may be served. A television, video cassette player and projection screen are available for use in the conference room.

    Online and CD-ROM Databases: Ohio Jury Instructions, Anderson's Ohio Forms, Westlaw, PACER, CCH Total Connect (including Human Resources Management, Employment and Labor Law, Health Law and Pension/Employee Benefits Libraries), Jury Verdict Analysis for Personal Injury Cases, FinPlan Divorce Planner.
  • Charges vary, some are free to subscribers.
  • Technical support from the staff is available as time allows.
  • Free Training for members on any online service, CD-ROM or Internet product. Please schedule an appointment for a training session.

    To access the library's catalog:
  • Open telnet software. (Ex. Hyperterminal)

  • Enter a name for the connection. (Ex. Stark County Law Library)

  • In the host address line, enter: sirsi.starklawlibrary.org

  • In the "connect using" box, choose TCP/IP.

  • At the login prompt type "public."

  • The program will then load, and this may take 1-2 minutes.

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to search for books by author, title or subject.

  • To exit, choose "end" and "yes" to end the workstation session.
  • Inter-Library Loan services are available for subscribers.
  • Charges are based on what the lending institution charges us. SCLL charges no additional fee. Call for details.
  • Lonesome Doc service to request medical articles is offered.
  • Subscriptions & Fees: Members of the public have free access to the law library. Free use extends to onsite use of the library's print collection and onsite reference assistance. Library staff members do not interpret the law, provide legal advice or explain court procedures.

  • Government Subscriber.......Free
  • Public Subscriber.........$40.00

    Photocopies: 15¢ each, self-service.
  • Vending cards for the photocopiers may be purchased in any amount.
  • Microfiche/film copies are also 15¢ each.
  • Computer print-outs are 15¢ per page.
  • Facsimile services:
  • Send: 25¢ per page within our local calling area, 50¢ outside.
  • Members may receive faxes for 15¢ per page.
  • Charges can be applied to a member account.
  • Telephones are available throughout the library for your convenience for local and toll-free calling.
