"Greening Up Your Law Firm"

| No TrackBacks

Posted by Chuck Newton: "Green and being environmentally friendly is the in thing.  It is also the responsible thing to do for reasons other than the environment.  Many times the green movement will help you focus to reduce your overhead.

I am sure there are a number of different ways you can green up your law firm or law office, such as using low VOC paints when or if you need to repaint your office, adding solar cells, tankless hot water heaters, and wind technologies.  These, however, are costly and probably need to wait until your firm is ready for a renovation.  In the meantime, here are a few things that will help:

1.  Get Rid Of The Books...

2.  Get Rid Of All Of The Paper...

3.  Recycle...

4.  Cut The Commute...

5.  Get Out Of Non-LEED Buildings...

6.  Get New Light Bulbs...

7.  Cut Out The Disposable Dishes...

8.  Get Rid Of The Bottled Water...

9.  Cut Out The Harmful Cleaning Products...

10.  Bring Your Lunch To Work With You...

There are undoubtedly many more things you can do, but this would represent a good start.  If you have other ideas, just comment to this post."
