"Read My Contrarian Article in the December Edition of TRIAL"

An editor at TRIAL contacted me after reading my blog posts Hot Worms and Workaholics: Let the Workers Be! and Is this lawyer a workaholic? Let's look at the fun/fear factor instead. She wanted me to write an article for their upcoming work-life balance issue and from a "contrarian view." Since I am used to being the resident contrarian, I was delighted to say yes. Unfortunately you can only read my article "What we can learn from hot worms, or why it's OK to be a 'workaholic'" if you are a member of the American Association for Justice (formerly the American Trial Lawyers Association). (You can get a good sense of the article if you read the posts linked to above.)

I see that friend and fellow blogger Julie Fleming-Brown also has an article in December's TRIAL; hers is entitled "Rethinking balance, reinventing yourself."
